Our Story
EKM Ministries International was founded to share the love of Jesus Christ with all people and to build a global community where believers can grow in their faith together.
For over 20 years, we have been building a global network, traveling all over the world to spread the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We have hosted Christian conferences in South Africa, France, Belgium, Ghana, Malaysia, and Singapore. Every year, we continue to travel the globe sharing the same message: that salvation comes only through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and through Him we are given eternal life.
Our doors are open to everyone seeking to know God and experience His transformative power.

Senior Pastor
Dr. Etienne Mwarabu is a pastor and the founder of EKM Ministries International. He has dedicated his life to teaching the foundation and truth of God's Word.
Dr. Deborah Mwarabu
Senior Pastor
Dr. Deborah has been a beacon of light and hope in the ministry for over 20 years, helping pastor Etienne guide the congregation with a blend of spiritual depth and academic excellence that is truly inspiring.
Theresa Lawson
Associate Pastor
Theresa Lawson oversees ministry programs and community outreach. Her dynamic approach to ministry and dedication to discipleship has impacted countless lives.
Brandi Nixon
Executive Assistant
Brandi Nixon coordinates the administrative functions of the ministry and our church mission trips, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication. Her organizational skills and servant heart keep our church running efficiently.
Statement of Faith
The foundational beliefs that guide our ministry
The Father, Son and Holy Spirit
We believe in one God—Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Creator of all things. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified, died, was buried, was resurrected, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true man.

The Holy Bible
We believe the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct. We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost.

Salvation
We believe in personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. We believe in sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit, and we believe in personal holiness, purity of heart and life.

Healing
We believe in divine healing, through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ, and that healing is included in the Redemption.

Baptism
We believe in water baptism, in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth, in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), in the gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. We believe that all of these are available to believers.
